An application workshop for 2026 Community Development Block Grant funds is tentatively scheduled in the Lower Level Conference Room 201 at the County Administration Building, 111 South Cherry St., Olathe, KS 66061.

Please note that eligible applicants for CDBG funding are cities in Johnson County, county departments, nonprofit organizations with an IRS 501(c)(3) tax exemption letter, and faith-based organizations.

In addition to responding to applicants’ questions, there will be a brief overview of the CDBG program and the application. New this year, staff will be providing a training session on the income verification process. It is highly encouraged interested applicants attend to learn about new policies taking effect in 2025 and 2026. Completed applications for 2026 CDBG funding will be due by noon on June 6, 2025.
