We have been closely monitoring weather and road conditions last night and this morning, and have decided to proceed with normal operations today, Friday, Jan. 17, with the following exceptions:

  • To and from Papercrete transportation has been cancelled for the day.
  • Catch-a-Ride volunteer transportation services are cancelled for the day.
  • Area Agency on Aging – Home Delivered Meals (Meals on Wheels) will not be delivered today.
  • Nutrition Centers are closed today.
  • Some Museum, Theatre and Arts programs have been rescheduled (participants have been notified).
  • Library locations will be closed on Friday, January 17, 2020, due to inclement weather. Friends of Johnson County Library Bookstores at Antioch, Blue Valley and Central Resource Libraries are closed all day. Our eLibrary is always open! This is a good day to check out the eLibrary where you can find newspapers, magazines, e-books, databases and more.
  • Paratransit and Micro Transit riders should expect delays between 30-60  minutes. Check @RideKC on social media for the latest.
