How can I volunteer?

Anyone interested in volunteering to help in Johnson County's vaccination effort can sign up at the Heart to Heart International website. Johnson County Department of Health and Environment (JCDHE) is listed in a dropdown list for “Where did you hear about us?” The county will be able to pull more vaccinators from this group to assist in vaccine clinics as well as in other roles.

JCDHE signed the agreement with Heart to Heart International to serve as the portal for individuals who wish to volunteer during this critical time in the pandemic. JCDHE forwarded the contact information for almost 300 community members who have inquired about volunteering. If you have asked about volunteering in the past, look for an email from Heart to Heart. They will contact you to get the process started.
