Benefits are an integral part of the overall compensation package provided by Johnson County. We strive to provide employees and their eligible dependents with choices that meet their needs. Insurance benefits begin on the first day of the calendar month following an employee’s start date or the date an employee becomes benefit-eligible. Below is the matrix that shows the benefits available to a full-time employee, a part-time partial plus employee and a part-time partial employee.
