Document Destruction
Johnson County Developmental Supports offers confidential shredding in our Document Destruction program that provides employment training and wages for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Walk-ins
We will assist you with your paper, weigh your paper and have you fill out your name, address and email address on the Certificate of Destruction. After the paper is weighed, we will let you know how much you owe, complete the Certificate of Destruction and give you a copy.
We accept cash and checks at this time.
Your paper will then be put in a secure container until your documents are shredded. Once shredded, we will email you the completed Certificate of Destruction, so you know the exact date the documents were destroyed.

Drive to the east side of the building to the warehouse dock area.
Ring the bell and someone will come and assist you.
Business Pickups
Let us know your needs and we will give you a quote.
Once the quote has been accepted, we will add you to the schedule. We will arrive on agreed upon date, collect and secure your documents in a lockable container and give you a copy of the Certificate of Destruction.
We will proceed to our building where the documents will be shredded. You will receive a signed copy of the Certificate of Destruction as well as the invoice.
