Jeff Holsapple, CAE, RES, RMA, was appointed as Interim County Appraiser for Johnson County, Kansas on August 1, 2019. He holds a Certified Assessment Evaluator (CAE) and a Residential Evaluation Specialist (RES) which are both designations from the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO). Jeff also holds a Registered Mass Appraiser (RMA) for the State of Kansas.
He began with the County in May 1993 as a Residential Real Estate Appraiser and has been promoted several times. The most recent promotion being to Assistant County Appraiser in April 2015. Prior to coming to Johnson County, Jeff was an assistant appraiser in the private sector.
Jeff has been a member of IAAO since 1994 and is a current member of the IAAO Guided Demonstration Report Project Task force. He has served on many committees with the most recent being the Certificate of Excellent in Assessment Administration for 2015-2017 which he chaired in 2015. Jeff is also a member of the Kansas City Chapter of IAAO which he served as President for 2010-2011 and as the Kansas Director for 2006-2008.
Jeff is a member and involved in many assessment organizations including Kansas County Appraiser’s Association, Northeast Kansas County Appraiser’s Association and the Northeastern Regional Association of Assessing Officers.
Jeff’s formal education was at Colorado State University where he completed studies for a Business Administration Finance Real Estate Administration degree.
