Johnson County United Airport Drop and Ride will provide direct service from Kansas City International Airport to Lenexa City Center and the Overland Park Convention Center during FIFA World Cup 2026™.

Drop and Ride service will operate free of charge. This service is drop-off service only. No long-term parking is available at Lenexa City Center or Overland Park Convention Center.

Riders may board at any designated stop along the route. Service generally operates every 60 minutes July 17 through Sept. 20, 2026.

Know Before You Go

No ticket or reservation required. Boarding is first come, first served. Space is limited.

This is a drop-off and pickup service only. Parking is not permitted at pickup locations.

After you get off the plane:

  1. Head to baggage claim and follow the signs for Public Transit.
  2. Cross the crosswalk at column 1D.
  3. Turn left at column 3D.
  4. Catch the bus at column 3A.
  • Stop is located on the north side of OPCC facing I-435
  • Inside access to OPCC is only available during normal operating hours
  • Follow posted event and transit signage upon arrival
  • Stop is located on the northwest corner of 87th St. and Scarborough/City Center Dr.
  • Inside access to LCC businesses is only available during normal operating hours
  • Follow posted event and transit signage upon arrival

Drivers are responsible for safety. Follow all instructions when boarding, riding and exiting. Service may be denied if rules are not followed.

Be respectful of drivers and other riders. No fighting, harassment or disruptive behavior.

Alcohol, drugs, smoking or vaping, and weapons are not permitted.

No eating on board. Drinks must be in closed containers.

Keep aisles and doors clear. Use headphones for music, videos and calls. Do not block seats with personal items.

  • Passengers are responsible for their own luggage.
  • Drivers do not load or unload bags.
  • Only small personal belongings on the vehicle. Large luggage stored below.
  • Unsafe, leaking or oversized items may be refused.

Two tournament services are available for fans with accessible transportation needs: KC2026 Accessible Transportation Services (following ConnectKC26 routes) and RideKC Freedom On-Demand (ride-hailing).

Complete a one-time registration, then book and pay for your trips directly in the RideKC Freedom app.

Allow passengers to exit before boarding. If full, wait for the next vehicle.

Arrive early. Vehicles operate on a schedule and do not wait.

Service may adjust based on demand and operations.

The driver has final authority on all safety matters.

Service may be denied or discontinued if safety rules are not followed.

Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings and luggage.
