Ready, set, play! Kansas students needing a physical exam to participate in sports and other Kansas State High School Activities Association activities may receive one at the Olathe walk-in clinic through Oct. 2, 2026. No appointment is needed. A parent/guardian must be present for the exam.

During high-volume periods, we may need to suspend our walk-in services temporarily. To protect the safety and privacy of our clients, their children and our staff, younger children may not be permitted in exam rooms for this service.

If your child needs a physical/wellness exam for school, childcare or camp or has an acute/chronic medical concern, please contact your child’s healthcare provider or a local health clinic.

Who Is Eligible

Nurse practitioners will provide physical exams for:

• Kansas middle and high school students participating in a KSHSSA activity.

What to Bring with You

• Completed KSHSSA form (English, Español)
• Sports Physical Registration Form (English/Español)
• List of current medications and dosages
• Prescription eyewear (glasses, contacts)
• Athletic/gym shoes

Clinic Hours/Location

• Physicals are given Monday-Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Oct. 2, 2026. Physicals will also be available on Friday, Oct. 9, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. No appointment is needed.
• The clinic is closed Friday, Sept. 11, for employee in-service training. 
• The clinic will close at 12 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18, for a staff meeting.
• Olathe walk-in clinic location. 

Exam Fee

$40. Payment is required the same day as the exam. Cash, check or major credit card is accepted. No insurance is billed for this service. There is no sliding scale or partial payment option for this service. Call 913-826-1200 for more information.
