The Johnson County Department of Health and Environment offers a supportive nurse home visiting program for expectant mothers and families with infants who live in Johnson County, Kansas. 
 
A Registered Nurse, who specializes in maternal and child health, can visit you:

• During pregnancy
• After your baby is born 
• Throughout your child’s infancy, providing resources, guidance, encouragement and education.

Visits are scheduled at your convenience, wherever you would like to meet. It is preferable to schedule an infant's first visit before the child is three months old.

Our nurses are here to help take care of moms before, during and after having a baby to help babies grow up strong and healthy.
