Project Authorization: $2,334,687 (increased from $1,600,000 due to increased performance of Meadowbrook IRB’s). The funding source is the IRB revenue generated by the Meadowbrook TIF.

Update: The scope of the project includes a new picnic shelter, restroom, playground, and parking area in the northeast portion of the park. The restroom and playground are designed beyond ADA requirements for all-inclusive play functions including oversize toilet compartments, adult-size changing tables, and specialized equipment for people of all abilities. The consultant team includes Landworks Studio and SFS Architecture. These consultants were also used on the phase 1 park design. The project bid opening was on August 31, 2021 with JCPRD Board award of a contract to Combes Construction on September 20, 2021 in the amount of $1,916,000. Plan and permit review was complete on September 29, 2021. The anticipated construction start date is November 1, 2021 with a one year construction duration.
