Area Plan on Aging
As a federally designated Area Agency on Aging, the Johnson County Area Agency on Aging prepares an Area Plan on Aging every four years. The Area Plan describes the AAA’s future activities over the coming four years, detailing the specific services to be provided to the older adults of Johnson County.
Public Comments
The Johnson County Area Agency on Aging seeks public input for the Area Plan on Aging (FY 2026-2029). Residents can provide feedback through various channels, including attending a public hearing or submitting written comments. The deadline for submitting written comments is Sunday, July 20, 2025.
Notice for Public Hearing
A Public Hearing will be held regarding the Johnson County four-year Area Plan on Aging (FY 2026- 2029) on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Sunset Drive Office Building, 11811 S.
