A social event with community heroes will take place at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, at the Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse, 9101 Nall Ave., Prairie Village.

Local firefighters and police officers will share important safety tips, answer questions and connect with community members.

The event features light refreshments with opportunities to meet your neighbors and help build a stronger, safer community together. It also provides a chance to interact with first responders in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
