Neighborhood Nutrition Center relocates in Lenexa

The Lenexa Neighborhood Nutrition Center has relocated to the Haskins Wing of the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center.
The center offers older adults an upgraded space to connect, stay active and enjoy a nutritious meal. This new location provides a more accessible environment, expanded senior programming and enhanced amenities such as outdoor pickleball courts.
Adults ages 60 and older can come to the new location to enjoy delicious and nutritious meals through the Johnson County Nutrition Program.
Lunch is available Monday-Friday, starting at 11:30 a.m.
There’s something for everyone at the Lenexa Neighborhood Nutrition Center, including:
- Movie Mondays: Catch a movie with popcorn and beverages at 12:30 p.m.
- Bingo Tuesdays: Fun begins at 12:30 p.m. (registration is required).
- Wellness Wednesdays: Once a month, enjoy guest speakers and seminars.
- Card and Board Games: Play favorites like Canasta, Skip-Bo and dominos, available Monday–Friday.
- 50 Plus Exercise: Join us for Senior Pep Fitness Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. and Chair Yoga on Fridays at 9 a.m. (drop-in fee applies).
- Special Events: Celebrate with monthly birthday celebrations, featuring live entertainment and various celebrations throughout the year.
Building on the legacy of the Lenexa Senior Center, this upgraded facility provides even more opportunities for older adults to gather and engage in a vibrant community setting.
