Comedy improv for older adults is a fantastic way to stimulate the mind, boost creativity and foster social connections.
For older adults, improv can be particularly beneficial as it promotes mental agility, memory retention and overall cogitative function.
Introductory Comedy Improv Class 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 10, free
Introduction to comedy improv class will offer a taste of what participants can expect in a nine-week comedy improv course. Instructor will guide attendees through an improv exercise and game and explain the many social and health benefits of participating in improv.
Comedy Improv Classes
10-11:30 a.m. Mondays, starting Feb. 24 $65/$67 non-residents
Nine-week comedy improv class series will encourage participants to think on their feet, unleash their creativity and build confidence in a supportive environment. Instructor will guide participants through a variety of improv exercises and games designed to enhance their spontaneity, teamwork and comedic timing. Week 9 will include a student showcase for family and friends.
