Johnson County Department of Health and Environment reached record vaccination numbers this week, with 3,120 people vaccinated on April 14 at the Lenexa site. This is the most people vaccinated in one day at that location. By the end of Saturday, it is estimated that vaccines administered for the week will reach 11,000.
JCDHE will continue to offer expanded hours, with both weekend and evening availability. About 11,000 appointments have been opened up for the next two weeks. JCDHE will be administering both the Pfizer and the Moderna vaccine.
Data from JCDHE shows that 40% of the eligible Johnson County population (16 and older) has received at least one dose, and 25% of this population is fully vaccinated.
