During the March 4 Board of County Commissioners meeting, the board will recognize Johnson County’s continued efforts to fight COVID-19 and persevere. A proclamation will designate March 7-13 as Heroes Week. March 7 marks one year since the virus was first detected in the county and state.
With Heroes Week, Johnson County Government will show appreciation to our community partners and county employees for a year of hard work and collaboration in fighting the pandemic in Johnson County. Heroes Week also acknowledges the impact of the pandemic on our community and recognizes its sacrifice and resiliency.
