Johnson County Department of Health and Environment learned on Tuesday, March 2, that it will receive from the state 3,700 doses of the Johnson & Johnson single-dose COVID-19 vaccine.
The shipment is expected this week and will be in addition to the regular shipment of 3,300 Pfizer doses that will be sent to the county.
JCDHE is preparing a plan to distribute the doses.
