Johnson County Mental Health Center Director addresses mental well-being

Johnson County Mental Health Center Director Tim DeWeese today, addressed the importance of reducing the spread of COVID-19, while also calling attention to the ways we can address our individual and collective mental well-being.

He offered the following suggestions:

  • Acknowledge the pandemic and its impacts
  • Have mindfulness and emotional regulation
  • Share a message of hope
  • Demonstrate gratitude and help others
  • Connect with professional help
