
On Monday, Sept. 28, the Johnson County Park and Recreation District announced that CARES Act funds are available to subsidize the JCPRD school-age remote learning and child care programs. The Board of County Commissioners authorized the funding for this purpose.
JCPRD's portion of the funds will allow the agency to provide JCPRD remote learning hubs and Out of School Time services at discounted rates for children ages 5-12, to qualifying families.

Applicants can access the COVID-19 School Age Remote Learning & Child Care Subsidy Application at jcprd.com. A JCPRD staff member will contact applicants within two business days to confirm eligibility and assist with enrollment when appropriate. All funding will remain in effect through Dec. 30, or until funding is depleted.
