Today, the Board of County Commissioners held its regular business session. The following were the COVID-19 related items:
- To date, the organization has identified $3,002,643.87 in costs which are eligible for CARES Act reimbursement and received $126,987,198.24 in federal funds.
- Personal Protective Equipment procurement project progress has been made since May 25. Seven orders with 5 vendors include $1,059,395 in purchases, which amounts to 5,546,078 pieces of PPE. To date, 170 deliveries of PPE have been made, which includes 805,985 pieces of PPE.
- Dr. Sanmi Areola updated the board on our dashboard information and trends.
- Johnson County is now working with the Mid-America Regional Council to receive updated hospital utilization data.
