Today, the Board of County Commissioner held its regular business session. The following were the COVID-19 related items:
- The board held a public hearing, a necessary step to amend the county’s FY 2020 budget to accept more than $116.3 million in CARES Act funding.
- To date the organization has identified $2,866,550 in costs which are eligible for CARES act reimbursement.
- Dr. Sanmi Areola updated the board on our dashboard information and trends.
- A meeting will be held next week with Johnson County hospital CEOS to work on a solution for obtaining hospital capacity and utilization data.
