Beginning at 12:01 a.m., on Friday, July 3, every Kansan in a public space must wear a mask. That was the announcement Governor Laura Kelly made shortly after 4 p.m., on Monday, June 29, at a news conference.
"This doesn't change where you can go or what you can do, it just means if you're around other people, you must wear a mask," Governor Kelly said.
The Governor said if you're outside, but physical distancing and six feet can't be maintained, you should wear a mask.
She added that very specific guidance will be provided on Thursday, July 2. Watch today's news conference on Facebook. Read more about today's news conference further below in this e-newsletter.
