Johnson County Department of Health and Environment has received the majority of results back from employees tested at the FedEx Olathe distribution center.
Last Thursday JCDHE announced that Johnson County had its first workplace outbreak, and then the following day, FedEx announced that it was the site of that outbreak.
JCDHE conducted testing of staff in the facility to determine the level of transmission and to control spread in the community. They have results back for 119 of the 121 samples collected, and only two positive results.
JCDHE is working with FedEx to isolate the workers and trace their contacts.
