JCPRD adjusts reopening plan in light of Phase 1.5 announcement

In review of Governor Laura Kelly's Phase 1.5 executive order, Johnson County Park & Recreation District is making adjustments to its recently announced reopening plan.

There are no changes in the current status implemented under Phase 1 and no changes will take place until Phase 2 begins, which will be no sooner than June 1. This includes park playgrounds and most facilities remaining closed until Phase 2. JCPRD summer camps licensed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment will begin as scheduled on June 1, with the exception of six of those beginning May 26. Specialty or theme camps will begin no sooner than June 15.
