More than $3.2 million in aid has been announced to 72 area nonprofits as part of the second round of grant funding from the Kansas City Regional COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund.
The fund provides grants to nonprofit organizations that support impacted communities—particularly those that are disproportionately affected by this public health crisis and its economic consequences.
Additional grants will be released on a rolling basis as fundraising continues and needs are identified throughout all phases of the crisis.
The fund is organized by a partnership of United Way of Greater Kansas City, the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, LISC Greater Kansas City and the Mid-America Regional Council. Learn more about the fund.
