On Aug. 8, the Board approved and adopted the FY 2020 Budget and FY 2020 – 2024 Capital Improvement Program as proposed. More information is available in this news release.
Other Board action in August included:
- Authorizing contracts to improve parking lots located at Johnson County Communication Center (CCC), 11880 South Sunset Dr.; the Justice Annex Building, 588 Santa Fe; the Johnson County Community Support Services (CSS) facility located at 6440 Neiman Road and the Johnson County Sunset Building located 11811 South Sunset Dr..
- Authorizing the Johnson County Wastewater General Manager to review and extend the current 2019 deferment extension requests one additional 5-year deferment period, if eligible.
- Authorizing a Use Agreement with the Johnson County Park & Recreation District at the County Operations Facility located at 19310 W 159th St., Olathe, KS 66062, to facilitate the administration of an out of school youth program for Olathe Public Schools (USD 233).
- Authorizing nine agreements for storm sewer inspection projects at a cost to the Stormwater Management Program of $3,569 with the city of Merriam; $115,146 with the city of Mission; $57,053 with the city of Mission Hills; $35,584 with the city of Shawnee; $34,189 with the city of Westwood; and $3,473 with the city of Westwood Hills.
