Presidents Day is Feb. 20

Monday, Feb. 20 is the national holiday known as Presidents Day. Originally, a day to honor the country’s first president, George Washington, it was later combined to also recognize the 16th president, Abraham Lincoln.  Now, it serves to honor all persons who have served as the U.S. President.

County offices are generally open on this Monday. However, all locations of the Johnson County Library will be closed on Presidents Day. Visit the library website for more information.
