Severe Weather Spotter Seminar scheduled for January 26

Maintaining a local team of trained storm spotters ensures our community gets the very best severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings from the National Weather Service.

The annual Severe Weather Spotter Seminar will be held Monday, January 26, 7 - 9 p.m. at Olathe Northwest High School in the Performing Arts Center. The seminar is free and open to the public. Anyone with a fascination in severe weather is encouraged to attend. No registration necessary.

New walk-in renewal fee now in effect at Motor Vehicles

Beginning January 1, 2015, an additional fee of $5 will be applied to each vehicle being renewed in-person at a Johnson County motor vehicle office. To avoid paying the additional $5 fee per vehicle, Johnson County residents can renew vehicle(s) online at www.jocogov.org or by mail.
