DeSoto Area: 

119th Street from Waverly Road to Gardner Road.  Road widening and paving project with donated right-of-way.  Construction has been underway since June, and is scheduled to be completed in 2006.

119th Street from Gardner Road to Moonlight Road.  Road widening and paving project with donated right-of-way.  Engineering is underway.  Field check was held with landowners in April, and r/w acquisition is underway.  Utility relocations will be this year, with construction in 2007.

 Stanley - Stilwell Area:  

Quivira Road 0.7 north of 175^th Street:  Bridge replacement project has had the road closed since June, and work should be completed in October.

Antioch Road 199th to 207th Street:  Road widening and paving project with donated right-of-way.  Grading is complete and road is open to traffic with a gravel surface.  Paving is scheduled for September 2006.

Kenneth Road 159th to 163rd Street(along River Ridge):  Road widening and paving project.  Preliminary plans are completed, and field check with landowners was held in April.  We anticipate r/w acquisition and utility relocation in 2006 with construction in 2007.

199th Street from Antioch to Metcalf:  Widening 199th including curb and storm sewer work is scheduled for 2006-2007 construction season.  Letting is scheduled for October.  Contact Brian Pietig or Keith Bredehoeft. 

 Spring Hill Area:   

199th Street from Webster to Ridgeview:  Widening 199th and construction of an overpass over the railroad is scheduled for 2006-2007 construction season.  Letting is scheduled for September.  Contact Brian Pietig or Keith Bredehoeft.

207th & Clare Intersection:  Safety improvement to increase sight distance. R/W acquisition and utility relocations are currently underway with construction scheduled in 2007.

207th Street 0.4 miles East of Renner:  Culvert replacement project to begin in the fall of 2006. 

Ridgeview from 199th to 207th:  Road widening and paving project to be completed in 2006. 

191^st Street 0.1 miles east of Pflumm:  Bridge replacement project scheduled to begin in fall 2006.

Gardner-Edgerton Area: 

151st Street east of Dillie Road for 1.5 miles:  Shoulder widening project scheduled for late 2006.  R/W acquisition completed – utility relocations currently underway.

183^rd Street 0.7 miles east of Douglas County Line:  Culvert replacement project to begin in late 2006.   

191^st Street 1.5 east of Douglas County Line:  Bridge replacement project scheduled to begin in fall 2006. 

County Line Road Bridge  0.8 north of 175th St.:  Bridge replacement project currently under design by BG Consultants, construction expected in 2007. 

Gardner Road 0.3 miles south of 199^th Street:  Culvert project to eliminate home flooding upstream.  Project to begin in late 2006.   

Olathe Area: 

159^th Street 1.0 west of Lone Elm:  Box Extension Guard Rail project scheduled to begin in fall of 2006. 

Waverly Road at 135th St. Intersection:  Safety improvement project to increase sight distance at intersection is scheduled for 2007 construction.  R/W acquisition and utility relocations are currently underway. 

Moonlight Road from 151st Street to 139th Street:  Widening and paving project scheduled for 2007 construction.  Design is currently underway.
