The Adolescent Center for Treatment - ACT                913-782-0283
ACT is a 20 bed residential facility for adolescents dealing with substance abuse issues. The program is staffed 24 hours a day and is designed to provide teens with a safe, drug-free environment in which to begin their recovery. All clients participate in individual, family and group counseling and receive basic alcohol/drug education and anger management training. Those who successfully complete treatment are eligible for up to one year of continuing care.

Adolescent Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment    913-782-0283
Offered in the late afternoon and early evening for teens and their working parents. Outpatient clients receive 2 to 6 hours of group counseling and basic alcohol/drug education per week. Family involvement in weekly multi-family group sessions are required. Those who successfully complete treatment are eligible for up to one year of continuing care.

Adult Detoxification Unit - ADU

A 12-bed unit, which operates 24 hours a day and accepts admissions around the clock. ADU offers a safe and supportive environment in which clients can manage their withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs in a non-medical setting. Clients are referred for ongoing treatment and/or community based self-help groups

The Regional Prevention Center

A prevention resource for communities, families and individuals interested in reducing the risk correlated with adolescent substance abuse. Using a risk reduction and protection enhancement framework, the staff provides training and education, information, problem identification and referral, and research based community development programs to local leaders.
