What are the concealed and open carry requirements and regulations in Johnson County?

The requirements for conceal carry can be found at the following website:  http://www.jocosheriff.org/Index.asp?incl=cs_cc. 

  • Applicants may obtain the application from the Kansas Attorney General's website.
  • Applicants may also obtain and must personally submit the application at the Sheriff's Court Security Division located at the East entrance of the Johnson County Courthouse, 125 N. Cherry, Olathe.
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, except holidays.
  • The Kansas Attorney General's Office began issuing CCH licenses on and after January 1st, 2007.
