How can I get a copy of a Homeowners Association bylaws?

Homeowner associations are not required to submit their by-laws to Johnson County Government.  However, some do.

Contact the Johnson County Records & Tax Administration (RTA) at 913-715-0775.  If the HOA has provided a copy of their by-laws, the RTA office will provide a copy.  To visit the RTA in person, the location is: 

Johnson County Administration Building.
