Cub scouts ages seven to 10 can take a one-mile hike and visit stations along the way to earn their Fur, Feathers and Ferns Adventure. See some of the live nature center animals up-close and observe the wildlife in the park with binoculars. See a working compost bin and worm bin and learn about composting. Learn about extinct and endangered animals. Smell and taste herbs and plant an herb to take home.
