Museum Art Adventures!

Join our instructor, a practicing artist, for art adventures through history’s lens! Focus on experimenting with new art techniques and materials. Participants are guided through the process as they learn about the art and history of each theme. Projects change monthly and are connected to our permanent, temporary, or KidScape exhibitions. Drop off class, but parents are welcome to stay. Pre-registration required. Limited to 20 participants.

Please visit http://jcprd.com/park_admin/registrations.cfm for registration.

1 - 1 hr. session - $13 per person, members $9 per person (Includes admission to the museum and KidScape).

BEFORE AND AFTER DRAWING - Working with reproduced photos from the museum’s collection, experiment with exhibiting artist Natalie Slater’s idea of creating interactive photography illustrating Route 66’s changes over time with transparencies, markers and paint!
