Prenatal care can improve your chances of having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Our Advanced Practice Registered Nurses provide routine prenatal care in collaboration with University of Kansas OB/GYN physicians. The University of Kansas Medical Center provides delivery and hospital services.

We can also provide pregnant women with:  

  • Assessment and counseling with social workers and dietitians
  • Adoption services referral

Prenatal services are only available for Johnson County, Kansas residents at the Olathe clinic (11875 S. Sunset Drive, Suite 300).

Documents Required for Prenatal Care

Proof of current Johnson County, Kansas address: (only one required)

  • Rental lease
  • Utility bill
  • Grade card
  • Piece of mail with your name and address on it
  • Paycheck stubs (within the last two months)
  • JCDHE Verification of Address form

Photo ID: (only one required)

  • Driver’s license or state ID
  • Passport
  • Green card
  • Consular card
  • Photo ID from your native country or voter registration card
  • Birth certificate
  • Student ID or work-issued ID

Proof of gross income (before taxes) for your family for the last 30 days: (only one required)

  • Paycheck stub
  • Letter from your employer (does not have to be notarized)
  • Federal income tax return
  • Verification of support from another individual

Paying for Prenatal Care

  • Payment options and fees will be disclosed prior to your first prenatal appointment
  • Accepted payment includes cash, check or major credit card
  • No one is denied service due to inability to pay
  • Client accounts may be subject to collections if not paid

Outreach Nurse Program for Pregnant Women

Registered Nurses are available for in-home, office or community site visits with pregnant women who live in Johnson County. Nurses provide physical assessments, blood pressure monitoring and education/counseling. Call 913-826-1228 for more information or to schedule a visit with a nurse. Proof of Johnson County residency is required.
