If you are interested in becoming a licensed Day, Residential or Targeted Case Manager in Johnson County, you must get your license from the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) before affiliating with the CDDO. After a license is received, contact the Johnson County CDDO at 913-826-2600.
Additionally, in order to bill and receive Medicaid reimbursementfor the services provided, you must be an enrolled Medicaid Provider and assigned a Kansas Medical Assistance Provider number (KMAP) for HCBS I/DD waiver services. There is an application fee for KMAP. Include a copy of your signed affiliate agreement with the Johnson County CDDO . Affiliation with the Jo Co CDDO is required prior to submitting the application to KMAP. Please contact KMAP directly if you hace questions about their application.
Lastly, providers mst contract with Managed Care Organizations MCOs). There are three in the State of Kansas: Aetna, Sunflower Health Care and united Health Care. More information about each MCO and the credentialing/contracting process is located on the KanCare website at www.kancare.ks.gov.
