Law enforcement officers in Johnson County took to the streets today at 6:00 a.m. to conduct commercial vehicle inspections, looking for safety violations and stolen equipment. The efforts are focused on the area of 135th Street and Switzer in Overland Park.
This saturation patrol was made possible in part by the MOKAN Theft Taskforce and included law enforcement officers from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Overland Park, Shawnee, Olathe and Leawood Police Departments and the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Results of this saturation patrol will be available after the event completion.
