Monday, Feb. 19 is the national holiday known as Presidents Day. Originally, a day to honor the birthday of country’s first president, George Washington, it was later combined to also recognize the birthday of 16th president, Abraham Lincoln. Now, it serves to honor all persons who have served as the U.S. President.
The Johnson County Courthouse will be closed in observance of President Day. Other county offices and services are open on this Monday.
