child looking out of car

Is your child in the right seat?

Find out on Saturday, Sept. 23 (National Car Seat Check Saturday) between 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at McCarthy Chevrolet Olathe's Service Dept. at 675 N. Rawhide. Trained car seat safety specialists will examine child car seats for proper use, installation, age/size appropriateness and will alert parents to any recalled products at this event. The free safety checks take approximately 30 minutes per seat. This is a great way for parents to make sure their children are buckled up right.

Of those kids who are buckled up, three out of four are not restrained properly or sit in a seat that is incorrectly installed. Child car seats are extremely effective when correctly used and installed, reducing the risk of death by 71 percent for infants and 54 percent for toddlers.

No appointment is needed! First come, first checked.
