It is far too common for residents to be taken advantage of after a storm by unscrupulous contractors. Make sure the contractor you select is licensed. There are three ways you can easily check a Johnson County contractor’s license status. You can contact the Johnson County Contractor Licensing Program by calling 913.715.2233. Staff will not recommend contractors, but can verify the status of any license. You can also check a contractor's status online or with the free JoCoGo app at the iTunes app store.
